Project Idea #2: Universal Subtitler

Universal Subtitler is an interface that applies subtitles to individuals that speak a different language from you, by pointing your smart phone camera at them while they speak.  The idea behind the Universal Subtitler is to allow users to get some translation help on the verbal content of speakers whose language you are not familiar with, as an alternative to users relying on referencing words or phrases from a language dictionary.

Project Idea #3: Scratch World

Scratch World is an augmented reality extension of existing paper-based scratch pads.  With a display peripheral and cameras to track fingers, Scratch World allows users to use the whole world as a scratch pad for inputting annotations, shapes, messages, or whatever the users wish to doodle in the world.
